Croatian tourism adds another 11.5 million to marketing budget
The 10th session of the Croatian Tourist Board Tourism Board was held yesterday in Zagreb, chaired by the Minister of Tourism and Sports, Nikolina Brnjac, in the presence of the Director of the Croatian Tourist Board, Kristjan Stanicic. During the session, board members, among other things, adopted a decision on the selection of media agencies for media rental in the markets of Slovenia, Hungary and Slovakia. Thus, the RML Studio agency has been selected for the above activities on the Slovenian market, while the Hungarian and Slovak markets will be covered by the Aviareps agency.
“We are very pleased with how the tourist season has gone so far, during which we have achieved over 6.3 million overnight stays, as well as announcements for most of the coming season. However, we do not want to leave nothing to chance, therefore, at today’s session, a budget of HRK 11.5 million was adopted to intensify advertising and promotion activities on digital communication channels, including YouTube, social networks Facebook and Instagram, as well as advertising on Google search and the Google DV360 platform,” said director Staničić, adding that it is an effective means of promotion that will be a great complement to activities. current promotional campaigns in key markets. In addition to the decisions to increase the promotion in the run-up to the main part of the season, the members of the Tourist Board also adopted a decision on the election of the director of the Croatian National Tourist Board in six issuing markets. Thus, Bruno Bonifačić, director of the CNTB Representation in Slovenia, Branimir Tončinić, director of the CNTB Representation in Austria, Goran Kartelo, director of the CNTB Representation in the Czech Republic, Ivana Herceg, were appointed for four-year terms.
