GoDaddy launches “Go for it” integrated marketing campaign
GoDaddy Australia today launched a multi-channel creative campaign featuring award-winning Australian stand-up artist and writer, Rhys Nicholson.
The “Go For It” campaign tells the story of regional Victoria GoDaddy clients, Roxane Coutts and Corrin Elliot, who turned a dream into a thriving business – Barkery Deluxe Dog Treats – by trusting their instincts, creating a site Web and “moving forward”.
The campaign aims to inspire Australians with a business dream to ‘go for it’ by showing that successful entrepreneurs started with an idea, trusted their instincts and ‘got there’.
The purchase of televisions will be amplified by a screen campaign and a free audio, digital and public relations program, which will run nationally until March 31, 2022.

To build on GoDaddy’s award-winning sponsorship of the Australian Olympic Team, the campaign also promotes leading Winter Olympians Belle Brockhoff (Snowboard Cross), Jarryd Hughes (Snowboard Cross) and Matt Graham (Mogul Skiing) , medal contenders at the Winter Olympics.
The campaign is launched as GoDaddy research reveals the value Australian entrepreneurs place on their instincts. According to the study, 85% of respondents believe it is “important or very important” to trust your instincts when starting a business. More than two-thirds (68%) trust their instincts to make trading decisions almost every day, while 84% do so at least once a week. About half (53%) said they felt they trusted their instincts more since the pandemic began, while 78% felt that trusting their instincts had a positive impact on their business.
Suzanne Mitchell, Senior Director of Marketing at GoDaddy Australia, commented: “Some of the most creative, innovative and rewarding business ideas are yet to be born; with inspiration often dampened by self-doubt. Through this campaign and the inspiring stories of GoDaddy customers Roxane and Corrin and GoDaddy Winter Olympics Ambassadors Jarryd, Belle and Matt brought together by local comedian Rhys Nicholson, we’re helping to inspire business dreamers online. Aussies to action by trusting their business idea and supporting themselves. There will always be a role for research, data and preparation, but starting a new business also involves a leap of faith. When imagination, entrepreneurship and instinct combine with GoDaddy’s easy-to-use website builder and online business solutions, anything is possible.
Corrin Elliot, co-owner of Barkery Deluxe Dog Treats, added: “Our business wouldn’t exist if we didn’t trust our instincts in the first place. When starting a business it can be very easy to doubt yourself, but it was one of the most rewarding and worthwhile decisions we have ever made. Every major decision we’ve made in relation to our business has involved research and planning, but with a healthy dose of instinct. Having the freedom to do something we love, the autonomy to control our careers and decisions, and the flexibility to do it around our personal family life is so empowering. We’re extremely excited to be part of GoDaddy’s campaign and hope our story helps inspire others to seize the moment and turn a dream into a business.
Simon Bookallil, Founder and CEO of Bashful, added, “GoDaddy has helped thousands of Australians realize their dreams by enabling them to create a business website. For the latest campaign, we wanted to portray the moment of inspiration behind any new venture and the courage it takes to take a chance and go for it. We talk to ‘The Dreamers’, Australians who have dreamed up a great business idea but haven’t made it happen yet. We wanted to take a more active role than just telling this group that GoDaddy is their perfect website building partner, we wanted to inspire them to take action and start their business. We think telling real stories of GoDaddy-backed success stories is the perfect way to do that.
Will Chapman, Managing Partner of Avenue C, added, “We have loved working with the GoDaddy team to evolve their Olympic sponsorship into a platform that will stand out for years to come. We are confident that the campaign’s presence in target markets will encourage entrepreneurs and small businesses to get out there, connect, and achieve their dreams.
