Proven marketing campaign? change it

Some new agents haven’t seen a real estate market in transition, and they may need to rethink phrases they’ve been using for a few years, such as “This one won’t last!”

NEW YORK — As some active markets undergo change, real estate agents need to recalibrate their marketing to ensure it remains relevant to current buyers and sellers. To this end, agents should assess their email to ensure it is up to date.

For example, when a house has been on the market for several weeks, slogans such as “This one won’t last” are not appropriate.

Agents need to review everything – their ad descriptions, their website copy, and their social media posts.

It’s also important to consider people’s main current concerns and what they hope to achieve. It requires an agent to see the market in transition and imagine where it will be a few months and even a year into the future.

New agents can benefit from being able to contact a mentor, broker or mastermind. They should constantly seek learning opportunities and strive to become a source of expertise. They can then showcase that expertise by talking to people, hosting workshops, and creating content that consistently informs and educates others.

Other key steps include exploring potential niches that may open up in a changing market, converting people’s requests into content, verifying analytics, and focusing on what works.
