Sourav Ganguly ruins his sponsored advertisement and ruins the whole marketing campaign with a “copy and paste”

The planned promotional stunt of an e-commerce platform was dashed by a tweet from Sourav Ganguly that included advice on what not to post.

After BCCI chairman and former cricketer, Sourav Ganguly made a copy-paste mistake, an e-commerce platform’s promotional stunt didn’t work as expected. A banner with the phrase “Mega Blockbuster” and what appeared to be a cast list of many celebrities was shared on social media.

Some of the celebrities who shared the poster included the actors Deepika PadukoneKarthi and Rashmika Mandanna, comedian Kapil Sharma and cricketer Rohit Sharma.

The trailer would debut on September 4, and the poster read, “Ohseem presents Mega Blockbuster.” Until Ganguly’s social media team revealed the brand behind the announcement, everything seemed to be working as expected.

Ganguly accidentally shared the entire communication, including instructions, which must have been emailed to his PR team in a now-deleted tweet and a Facebook post that has also been deleted.

While Ganguly deleted the tweet and posted a new one without the error, netizens quickly realized what happened, and the screenshot of his tweet is now circulating online.

Here’s how people reacted to the tweet and Ganguly’s lack of interest in paying attention to detail before going online with anything:

Based on the marketing moves the e-commerce company was trying to make, an illusion had to be created around cricketers like Ganguly and Rohit Sharma, which suggested that the two gaming legends could be seen taking part in a kind of “blockbuster”. ” film.

And to be fair, their tactics have managed to gain traction. Many have come to believe that the two cricketers will be seen on the big screen, especially with a newly released new movie trailer which featured former Indian cricketer Irfan Pathan giving their best themselves as an actor.
