StarHub donates anniversary campaign marketing budget to coronavirus cause

StarHub decided to suspend marketing activities around its 20th anniversary and instead donate $200,000 to provide poorer students with internet access so they can be home-schooled during a lockdown.

The Singapore-based internet service provider and television company decided that instead of using the money for marketing expenses, it would donate to a good cause. The company announced the initiative on its social media channels today.

The Singapore government has announced stricter distancing measures in the country, to help tackle a rise in the number of people with coronavirus.
