Indiana is the “IN” place according to the state’s updated tourism slogan and marketing campaign.

Visit Indiana and Indiana Destination Development Corp. launched “IN Indiana” on Wednesday as a new customizable brand for travel, tourism, institution and locality promotions in Hoosier State.

As part of the plan, designed by the WeCreate agency of Valparaiso, Visit Indiana provides an extensive, customizable toolkit of resources free of charge for any Indiana business, small town, large city or destination to align their marketing with the “IN Indiana” logo and brand.

“In keeping with our great state’s spirit of innovation, this campaign gives everyone tools and a voice, making Indiana stronger together,” Republican Gov. Eric Holcomb said.

“From the Indiana coast to the hills of southern Indiana, there’s something for everyone here ‘IN Indiana’.”

The “IN Indiana” logo features “IN” within an arrow pointing to “Indiana” and an outline of the state shape in the center of the letter “D” in Indiana.

Officials said the logo and associated designs can easily be paired with customizable taglines to promote a variety of venues and events, from the Indiana Dunes to the Indianapolis 500, and everything Indiana is known for.

“From the smallest towns to the biggest cities, ‘IN Indiana’s’ adaptable messaging will inspire pride in the many communities that make up the state,” said Lieutenant Governor Suzanne Crouch.

“Through the campaign’s unified messaging, we will attract more visitors, retain college graduates in our schools, and attract top talent to ensure Indiana’s continued growth and success.”

Elaine Bedel, secretary and CEO of IDDC, said she looks forward to seeing how entities across the state customize “IN Indiana” marketing materials to suit their needs, while helping present a unified front. potential visitors, future residents and companies looking to do business. in Indiana.

“IN Indiana” replaces the oft-derided “Honest-to-Goodness Indiana” tourism marketing campaign started in 2014 under former Republican Governor Mike Pence.
